Access to HE: Tutor Guide







This help guide will explain how to mark an Access to HE Assessment on eAssessor Pro.

  1. Log into the platform using your account Email and Password.
If you have forgotten your password you can click the Forgotten Password button above the login button.


  1. Once logged in, you will be greeted with your dashboard, this contains all the information you need to know regarding, Outstanding Submissions, Previous Submissions, New Learners, etc.


  1. At the top of your dashboard, you will have 4 buttons. Total Learners, Moderator Actions, Completed Submissions & Outstanding Submissions. These will provide you numbers corresponding to the heading. You can also 'Click' These Numbers to go to the List View.


  1. Underneath those 4 buttons, you have a Learner Name Search box. This will allow you to search for a specific learner assigned to yourself.


  1. Below the search, you will see your Latest Submissions tab. This is going to show you the Assessments currently with you for marking in Oldest to Newest format.
    You can click on a submission from the latest submission box to go straight to the marking process. Or click Outstanding Submissions, then Mark on the right Action column.


  1. Once on the marking page, You will see an overall feedback box at the top of the page, If you scroll down you can see the activity files (assignment briefs) the learner was provider for this unit. Then underneath the activity files, you will see the Learner Files. These are the submitted files from the learner.


  1. Below the learner files, you will find the Tutor Files section. This is where you can upload your marked work for the learner, you can upload more than one document.


  1. Below the Tutor Files, you can find the Criteria section. This is where you can go through and mark each question criteria as either a Pass or Refer.
Marking a question as a refer will send the Assessment back to the learner for amendments. You can also leave a criteria as Unmarked, which will indicate to the learner that question criteria has not been marked yet.


  1. At the bottom of the page you can find the Feedback Date box & the Save or Submit button. If you are wanting to schedule your feedback for a certain day you may put your desired date in the feedback date box, then click the save button.


If you schedule your feedback, this will disappear from your To-Do list on your dashboard, but for Admins and Yourself this will show on the Unit page as being scheduled.



  1. If you wish to instantly submit the assessment. You can remove any dates in the feedback date box, then this will unlock the submit button.
