The following guide will go through your first steps once successfully enrolled, how to use & navigate the platform, useful tips & features and additional information you may need to help you along your journey!
Logging Into Your Account
If you enrolled directly through a College/Training Provider your account creation will be in their hands, once the College/Training Provider have created your account, you will receive an email with a link to create your password. If you need any additional help logging in here its always best to contact your provider if needed.
1. After you have logged into your account, you will see your HOME page. This is where you will find any courses that you have enrolled on.
2. ‘Select’ View Details to view Learning Materials and Assessments.
3. ‘Click’ the Unit title to access assessment and learning materials.
4. To access Learning materials ‘Select’ Learning Content Link.
5. You will then have access to your interactive RISE workbook for that unit.

"Click" the Start Course button to start going through the workbook.
- To progress through the slides, scroll to the bottom and "Click" Continue.
6. When you wish to move on to your Assessment, "Click" the Assessment button at the top.
7. "Select" which Unit you want to go to.
8. Your Assessment page includes the Assignment Brief for the unit you are completing at the top of the page, under the Activity Files heading. 'Click' the link to download the Assignment Brief.
9. To upload your completed assignments, 'Click' the Choose File button under the Your Files heading.
10. You will then be prompted to select a document. Select the assignment you would like to upload, then click Open.
11. Your assignment will then be attached to your assessment. To confirm your upload, 'click' Upload.
12. After uploading one document, you will have the ability to make additional uploads using the Choose File button.
13. The bottom of the Assessment page lists all the Assessment Criteria for that unit. These are also visible in the Assignment Brief.
14. If you are completing a Graded unit, indicate your Target Grade (either Pass, Merit or Distinction) at the bottom of the assessment page.
15. Click the Submit button, then Confirm.
This will then submit this unit for marking to your tutor.
16. If the tutor marks this unit and determines that answers must be re-visited. you will get an email notification that you have a unit for re-submission.
When you log in you will also have reminders that you have outstanding units that have been referred back;
17. When viewing your assessment, Overall Feedback left by your tutor can be viewed at the top of the page.
18. If your tutor has uploaded feedback, this can be downloaded by clicking the document name under the Tutor Files heading.
19. Assessment Criteria that were marked as incorrect will appear with a next to them. Assessment Criteria that were marked as correct will appear with a next to them.
