This help guide will explain how to navigate your home screen

Total Learners


1. ‘Click’ on Total Learners.
This indicates how many active learners you currently have allocated to you, in the example below, the assessor has four allocated learners



















2. This will display the Learner Search screen.
NOTE: This will only display learners allocated to you as their assessor

3. From this screen, you can use the Filter Options as outlined below to display certain learners.



4. These are the various Filter Options that can be used to locate learners.

Field name
Description
First Name
Enter first name details to locate the learner
Last Name
Enter last name details to locate the learner
Email
Enter email address details to locate the learner
Date of Birth
Enter DOB details for the learner
Postcode
Enter postcode details to search for learners
Unique Learner ID
Enter the ID detail for the learner
Phone Number
Enter the phone number for the learner
Course
Select the course title from the drop down menu
Course Status > Current
This will show any learners who are currently registered on a course 
Course Status > Not Started
This will show any learners who have not started their course 
Course Status > Started
This will show any learners who have started their course 
Course Status > Passed
This will show any learners who have passed their course
Course Status > Withdrawn
This will show any learners who have been withdrawn from their course
User Status > Active
Shows learners who are currently active on system
User Status > Inactive
Shows learners who are currently inactive on system
Planned End Date
Searches for learners with a planned end date within the parameters entered
Actual End Date
Searches for learners with an actual end date within the parameters entered
Last Action
Searches for learners with a last action within the parameters entered
Gender > Male
Searches for learners who have identified as Male
Gender > Female
Searches for learners who have identified as Female
Gender > Non-binary
Searches for learners who have identified as Non-binary
Ethnicity
Select the ethnic group from the drop down menu
Learning Difficulty & Health Problem
Select the learning difficulty/health problem from the drop down menu
Groups
Select the appropriate group from the drop down menu
Group Filter > All groups

Group Filter > Any group

Show > 25
This will show up to 25 records
Show > 50
This will show up to 50 records
Show > 100
This will show up to 100 records
Show > 250
This will show up to 250 records
Show >500
This will show up to 500 records (default view)
Sort by > Last Name (ASC)
Displays records in ascending order of last name
Sort by > First Name (ASC)
Displays records in ascending order of first name

NOTE: You can search by partial details in any of the fields by entering text between * characters. For example *hotmail.com
5. Once the filters have been selected, 'click' Search to retrieve the results based on the search criteria.

6. If a report of the results is required, ‘click’ Export to download or open an Excel report.



Moderation Actions


7. ‘Click’ on Home to return to home screen, then ‘click’ on Moderation Actions.
This indicates how many Moderation Actions you currently have allocated to you, in the example below, the assessor has one moderation action to complete



8. This will display the Moderation screen.
However, the view will already be filtered through the Moderation Status field to show Tutor amending and Tutor remarking
NOTE: This will only display learners allocated to you as their assessor


9. If you hover over the abbreviated headings in the table, the system will advise the meaning for them, they are as follows;

L.S.D.     Last Submitted Date
L.M.D.   Last Marked Date
10. ‘Click’ on Remark underneath Actions, next to the relevant learner submission.
If you wish to view the feedback from the moderator, ‘click’ on View Report instead


11. This will display the Marking screen for the selected unit.
At the top of the screen is the Overall Feedback box, where you can see the original feedback for the unit from the assessor. Below this is the Overall Resubmission Feedback which is for you to complete prior to returning to the learner/moderator

On the right-hand side of the screen is a history of the learner’s submissions for this particular unit and the status of each


12. You will need to remark the questions as per the feedback from the moderator.



13. When all answers have been remarked as required, ensure that the Overall Resubmission Feedback is completed, then ‘click’ Submit. (Once all answers have been marked, the Submit button will change colour – amber if a resubmission and green if sending for verification).



14. Once submitted, it will take you to the Activities view for the learner, with the updated status of the unit and display a notification advising Record Saved.



15. It will also update on your dashboard, ‘click’ Home to see your dashboard, Moderation Actions, should have updated as well as Moderation Reports Requiring Action.



Completed Submissions


16. ‘Click’ on Home to return to home screen, then ‘click’ on Completed Submissions.
This relates to the number of assessments that have been marked by yourself as the allocated assessor



17. This will display the Unit Search screen.
NOTE: This will only display learners allocated to you as their assessor


18. From this screen, you can use the Filter Options as outlined below to display certain learners units.



19. These are the various Filter Options that can be used to locate learners units.

Field name
Description
Activity Type > AssessmentRelates to the type of activity and how it’s loaded > Assessment questions for the unit
Activity Type > Multiple Relates to the type of activity and how it’s loaded > Multiple choice questions
Activity Type > SCORMRelates to the type of unit and how it’s loaded > Interactive resources 
Activity Type > Online Learning ContentRelates to the type of unit and how it’s loaded > Digital workbooks
Activity Type > File DownloadRelates to the type of unit and how it’s loaded > Downloaded file
ActivitySelect the activity from the drop down menu. This will change according to the activity type selected above
CourseSelect the course title from the drop down menu
Learner First NameEnter first name details to locate the learner 
Learner Last NameEnter last name details to locate the learner
Current Status > Not AccessedThis is when the unit has not been accessed by the learner
Current Status > AccessedThis is when the unit has been accessed by the learner
Current Status > SubmittedThis is when the unit has been submitted by the learner
Current Status > FinishedThis is when the unit has been marked by the assessor as passed
Current Status > ResubmissionThis is when the unit has been marked by the assessor as a resubmission
Note: Current Status will be auto populated with finished and Resubmission when accessed from Completed Submissions and Submitted when accessed from Outstanding Submissions

Days taken to MarkSearches for units with a value of how many days it took to mark, within the parameters entered
Submitted BetweenSearches for learners who submitted a unit within the parameters entered
Marked BetweenSearches for learners with a last action within the parameters entered
GroupsSelect the appropriate group from the drop down menu
Group Filter > All groups
Group Filter > Any group
Show Optional
This will show any units that are optional, that have been submitted
Include Submission Attempts in Export
When exporting the data, it will show how may submission attempts for each learners unit, that has been submitted
Course Status > Current
This will show any learners who are currently registered on a course 
Course Status > Not Started
This will show any learners who have started their course
Course Status > Started
This will show any learners who have started their course
Course Status > Passed
This will show any learners who have passed their course
Course Status > Withdrawn
This will show any learners who have been withdrawn from their course
Show > 25This will show up to 25 records

Outstanding Submissions


22. ‘Click’ on Home to return to home screen, then ‘click’ on Outstanding Submissions
This relates to the number of assessments that have NOT yet been marked by yourself as the allocated assessor
